That's right, what a trip! I have to say, that will go down as one of the most memorable Washington trips in PUE history. I think it even tops the trip where we left a couple of parents on the street corner and had to drive in circles trying to find them until we go in touch with them. Thank you to all the chaperones for trying to keep everyone corralled and moving along. We did a pretty good job of getting to places on time. In the email I sent with the link to this week's post, I included a username and password for my Washington Shutterfly account. I already started a new album for this year's trip. Feel free to post as many pictures as you want and take from the others as well. I know there are lots of good ones out there.
This week is going to be a very busy week. Field day is tomorrow! If you are available to help out at any point, please go to this link (Field Day SignUp Genius). Our field day is scheduled for 1:00 - 3:00. Please send in a change of clothes, as 5th graders LOVE the water stations and always end up soaking wet! Also, consider sending in some sunscreen. It's looking like it will be sunny and warm tomorrow, so sunscreen would be a great idea!
Talent show is this Friday. If your child is in the talent show, Mrs. Freer will most likely have instructions for them later this week.
We have our final in-house science field trip this week. We are scheduled to participate at 11:00. If you would like to come in and help, feel free! The trip crosses over our lunch schedule, so we will just eat lunch in the classroom when it is over.
Track 1 begins EOG testing on Friday this week and finishes up on Tuesday next week. Please remind your children that the hallway rules are even stricter during testing to allow the other students to concentrate better. Specials and lunch times will not be changing for this testing session, however things will change when we do our testing. It would be a great help to me if I could get some volunteers to come in during our EOG lunches. I will send out a sign-up soon to fill those slots.
I think that covers it. I hope everyone had a good time on our trip and has a great rest of the week!
